Job Duties
- What you’ll do
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and complete daily paperwork/ELD accurately
- Safely operate a DZ truck (e.g., ready-mix, flatbed, dump, roll-off) to deliver to customer sites
- Load/unload materials (chutes, pallets, bins) and secure loads per MTO standards
- Drive with professionalism on customer sites; follow site safety and traffic plans
- Communicate with dispatch; report defects, delays, and incidents promptly
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and the Highway Traffic Act
Skills and Experience
- Valid Ontario DZ licence (AZ an asset) + clean driver’s abstract ( 3 years)
Qualifications

- Valid Ontario DZ licence (AZ an asset) + clean driver’s abstract (3 years)
- Solid knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, hours-of-service & load securement
- Comfortable with manual and automatic transmissions (manual an asset)
- Physically fit to handle chutes, hoses, or tie-downs; lift up to ~50 lb as needed
- Great customer service and communication on active job sites
- Flexibility for early starts, occasional Saturdays, and overtime during peak season
