Overview
- This is on-site role for a Maintenance Electrician. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. They will also be involved in preventive maintenance activities to ensure the efficient operation of electrical systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on machinery and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid equipment failure.
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Participate in night shifts, weekend work, and on-call duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid 309A Industrial Electrician License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail and time management.
- English language proficiency required.
- Millwright or Maintenance experience: 5 years (required).
- 442A license (optional but preferred).
