Overview
- We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our Event Operations Team. This role is perfect for people who enjoy working in dynamic environments, meeting new people, and being part of creating memorable experiences. From local fairs and music festivals to luxury weddings and corporate galas, no two events are the same.
- As an Event Staff member, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful setup, operation, and teardown of various types of event equipment and attractions. This physically active role requires a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a professional attitude. The work is primarily on-site at client locations, with flexible scheduling that may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities and Duties
- -Set up, operate, and take down event equipment such as inflatables, furniture, décor, and attractions
- -Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- -Operate interactive equipment like mechanical rides and games (training provided)
- -Maintain cleanliness and safe handling of all equipment
- -Assist in the warehouse with prepping equipment and organizing inventory
- -Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- -Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure timely and smooth event execution
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and various shifts (morning/night)
- -Strong punctuality and time management — must arrive on time
- -Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- -Professional appearance and demeanor when dealing with clients or the public
- Reliable transportation to job site locations (North York and surrounding areas)
- -Previous experience in event setup or general labour (an asset but not required)
- -Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Skills
- Skills & Experience (for the web form)
- -Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (75+ lbs)
- -Experience in physical labour or warehouse/event setup preferred
- -Excellent time management and punctuality
